OUTREACH

Besides serving its members giving them the opportunity to be part of a large classical music ensemble, the Cowichan Consort Orchestra and Choir is a community service. As such we try to include other musicians and musical groups to give them the experience of performing with a large orchestra with choir. Some of the groups and activities that we have had are:
 

• Youth Concerto Competition (classical instrumentalists and singers 26 & under)

• Guest children and/or adult choirs

• Children, youth and adult guest soloists, mostly local to our area.
